Youth Services

We offer a wide range of professional services to meet the needs of children and young people. We promise to provide every service with a smile and to your utmost satisfaction.

One of the principles of Edusa is that one should bend the twig while it is still young.

After all, good habits are best learned at a young age.

Our youth experts know this inside and out! For years, they've been passionately working with children and young people experiencing challenges in their social, societal, and personal functioning, giving them a future to look forward to!

After completing their training, our youth experts have completed several training programs and courses to further expand their expertise. This makes their offerings quite broad.

Depending on personal needs, they can offer the following, among other things: treatment (both individually and in groups), system support (family and relatives), training & workshops, personal life coaching, etc.

Support for parenting

Unfortunately, raising children isn't easy. No matter how well you do and how much you mean, sometimes things just don't go the way you'd like. Parenting support can be very welcome!

This support is provided by our professionals in various facilities.

The ultimate goal is to support parents in 'normal parenting', to identify emerging problems and to solve them together.

Social skills training

The way you interact with other people is what we call social skills. These skills are very important in your social life, but they're not always easy.

We can help you make this easier with this training so that you too can get more enjoyment out of your social contacts.

How do we do this? By simply addressing the relevant aspects, namely skills that help you handle difficult social situations. For example, you'll learn how to start a conversation with a stranger or how to best handle criticism.

The most important thing is that you learn to think positively about yourself and others. That's why we always begin the training by looking at your "qualities" and "positive qualities." This will boost your self-confidence, making interacting with people easier.

Emotion regulation

Emotion regulation is the ability to regulate emotions to achieve goals, complete tasks, and control and guide behavior. It's a skill that many children and adolescents regularly experience difficulties with.

You might recognize difficulty regulating your emotions when you regularly have angry outbursts, have difficulty recovering from disappointments, or become frustrated or upset during complex tasks. This undoubtedly brings many problems to your life!

But this can also make parents feel very powerless.

Our training first teaches you to recognize the problems you experience in regulating your emotions, then to break through these problems and finally to learn the basic skills of emotion regulation.

In Pest

Are you or your child being bullied? Have you been bullied in the past, or are you a bully yourself? In all these cases, we're happy to support you.

The impact of bullying is enormous; it can be traumatic and significantly damage your self-esteem. Therefore, it's important to stop it and seek support to prevent the effects from continuing for years to come!

Depending on the nature of the problem, we will implement the most appropriate treatment method (if necessary involving external agencies) to put an end to it together.

Fear of failure

Fear of failure literally means 'the fear of failing.'

Basically, you're afraid you can't meet the demands you've placed on yourself. This often stems from a lack of self-confidence.

Don't worry! At Edusa, we offer a variety of professional interventions to help you manage your fears.

We help you change your mindset, deal with mistakes in a healthy way, strengthen your self-confidence, and even conduct behavioral experiments together.

ADHD

Does your child have trouble paying attention? Is he or she more active than his or her peers and does things more often without thinking? Then your child might have ADHD.

This can cause problems at home or at school, and it can be difficult for both parents and teachers to deal with.

It's good to know that ADHD can't be cured. However, you might consider therapy to alleviate the symptoms.

Fortunately, our experts know exactly how to approach this! Some treatment methods include psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), social training, family therapy, and more.

We understand this completely! For guidance and support with autism, you can contact Edusa!

To provide the best possible support, it's important to collaborate with all parties involved. Throughout the support process, there will be regular consultations with the person with autism's environment.
